How the summary is scored
Each timeframe has two groups. The moving average group compares price with twelve averages (simple and exponential, 5 to 200 bars); price above an average is a buy vote and below is a sell vote. The indicator group asks twelve oscillators for a buy, sell or neutral reading. A group reads Buy when buy votes outnumber sell votes, and Strong Buy when it leads two to one by at least three votes. The overall summary adds the two groups (Strong counts double): a total of 3 or more is Strong Buy, 1 or 2 is Buy, 0 is Neutral, and the same in reverse for selling.
Reading timeframes together
Short timeframes react first and reverse often; daily and weekly readings change slowly and describe the larger trend. When the hourly reading disagrees with the daily and weekly ones, treat it as a counter-trend move that needs tighter risk control. When all six line up, trends tend to be more persistent, although no reading guarantees the next move.
The current hourly bias is Neutral, leaning sell on rallies (range into the 5 PM break) with low confidence. 5-hour, daily and weekly all read Strong Sell; price is below every daily moving average and the 100 and 200-hour averages (about 4,054 to 4,109).
